The really core features for me are the following: There are a million space sandboxes out there, so I’m looking for guidance. I do really like the industry side of those games, and the manufacturing piece. Good and enjoyable mining would be a bit plus too. I don’t want to get into a guild and do coordinated fleet operations with people really - I want that solo sandbox experience where I can do whatever I want, and most importantly, pilot an absolutely unreasonably large turbo-carrier. However, not actually being able to compete in industry if you’re not in a megacorp because the economy is a little too real is a bit of a shame. You start in a tiny baby ship and can ultimately drive something that’s 2 kilometers long? Incredible. Completely from-the-ground economy where everything is made by someone? Incredible. So I really enjoy the idea of eve online - but I don’t love the execution in the end.
